Having issues playing games recently. I usually only play one game, Assetto Corsa, which I bought a while ago and never had issues until recently but I just bought quantum break during the winter sale on steam because it looked interesting and it's having problems as well.
For Assetto it has been starting to randomly switch to a loading screen while I am playing. I can hear the game running even after this happens and I have to close the window which takes me back to the main menu but does not kill the game completely. I just have to close the window and click start again from the main menu and continue playing until it happens again or it runs normally and doesn't crash. It is not really repeatable by me it will just happen.
I dont know if Quantum break is crashing from the same issue but it will randomly crash while I am playing. Doesn't matter what if I just let the game sit open or I am playing it will just crash to desktop randomly. Never when I am in a menu just during gameplay or cutscenes.
I Don't know exactly when it started for Assetto Corsa but it was definitely not doing this before. I don't know if both games are experiencing the same issue. I don't know if it is software or hardware issue. I'm assuming it is software because my hardware has not changed since I updated my GPU last June/July and it was not doing this then.
I am running the latest steam. Latest windows updates 1709. Latest Nvidia GeForce drivers and have reinstalled them. I also checked the game files in steam and it says the are validated. I have reinstalled the games and quantum break is probably worse now. Other than this gaming issues pc runs perfect and smooth.
I was instructed here to post hwmonitor file for assistance. These files were generated trying to play quantum break. Each time I tried playing it crashed at different points 4 times.
