The problem: The computer will at random intervals go through the reboot sequence. Nothing I can discern seems to trigger it and it gives now "Blue Screen" message with an error code to look up. The computer screen goes black, the reboot sequence happens as if I just turned it on, and I return to the computers normal function.
The computer however does not lose power it seems. The internal lights and fans continue to operate throughout the reboot and even just before. There might be a short second blink but I haven't seen it. Unfortunately this problem is completely random and so I am never prepared for it to happen. It is as of this post a problem that has occurred five times. First was two weeks ago. Then 5 days ago, then yesterday and then today. So it may be getting worse?
What I've Done So Far: I replaced the RAM because this computer had a janky RAM anyway but this specific problem persists. Other issues were resolved by that. The problem predates the RAM replacement. I've since updated all drivers, done Chkdsk, sfc /scannow, memory checks, virus scans, all turned up nothing. I ran a disk defrag, all of it did not resolve the issue. I have visually checked the motherboard for burned out or blown capacitors and they look to be in perfect working order, and the PSU is a 600w which is well and above what the machine came with initially but it could be a janky PSU. The computer is plugged into a Surge Protector but the issue is that the computer doesn't appear to lose power; or if it does it is so imperceptibly quick that I don't notice it. I've also checked the internal temperature; its normal and the fans work as expected AND it is winter and the computer itself stays within a freezing cold room in the house anyway.
UPDATE: Finally was able to catch an error code in event logger. Is an Error Code: 0x8000400000000002 Microsoft-Windows-Kernel-Power {331C3B3A-2005-44C2-AC5E-77220C37D6B4}. Or at least I suspect that is it because it is the only CRITICAL issue from the time of the last crash.
Situation Now: I am at wits end, after exhaustive testing I am still not sure if its a hardware or software issue, I don't know what to replace, how much its going to cost or even begin to describe what is wrong.

It was a prebuilt but I have since replaced the RAM and PSU. The PSU is as I said 600w and should be enough power, but it might be sub quality since I bought a new one after a power outage fried my old one. But I am curious how it could be the PSU without the whole system turning off.
What I'm asking for: Any plausible diagnosis to point me in the direction of repairing this increasingly frustrating problem.
