What is stopping these sites from serving content through SSL? Surely there must be ways to obscure where the content is coming from.
I feel like the only real people who are going to get hit the hardest by this are going to be the technologically illiterate.
I just don't see how an ISP is going to enforce a "add Netflix" package, unless you're the type of consumer that wouldn't have an unlimited package anyways (or what they'll call "all the internet") with SSL. Then it's going to come down to bandwidth.
Serious question and I couldn't find any discussion about this at all, in terms of what this would be like if it goes through and ways that people and companies will cope.
