I was installing CUDA 8 when my screen went black although everything else was on and running. I assumed I had a bad nvidia driver - its happened before.
I turned off my computer, removed my GPU and booted up with DVI using the iGPU. Computer boots normally but no signal. Weird. I switched to HDMI, still nothing (Yes my monitor and cords work, tried it on another computer).
At this point, I realize its not my GPU and I'm thouroughly stumped. I've tried: 1. Removing power cable, holding down power button for 30s, then boot 2. Reseating ram 3. Moving ram around, trying 1 stick at a time 4. Disconnecting hard drives
I have no idea why it wont work. I honestly thought it was a software issue but it's looking like a hardware one. Oh all the LEDs light up on my motherboard, all the fans are running at full speed, and my LED lighting kit works but my keyboard and mouse won't power on.
EDIT: SOLVED NOW. I FORGOT THE MOST OBVIOUS THING.... RESEATING THE CMOS BATTERY
