Recently my computer seems to be having random spikes in fps where it drops from its usual fps to about half. The main games i play and notice this in are league of legends and overwatch. I have both games running capped at 144fps and 99% of the time I am able to maintain the max fps. A few days ago i noticed that both games are consistently falling to about 70 fps throughout the time that I am playing. I hadn't updated the drivers on my graphics card in a little over a month so i tried that first which brought no luck. Other than that I haven't made any attempts at solving since I'm not sure where to start. Any help with figuring out my issue would be appreciated.
