I am getting horrible audio/video lag and sync issues whenever I watch a video on Google Chrome. A Twitch stream, YouTube video, Facebook, doesn't matter, horrific lag that starts only about 30 seconds - 1 minute in a video and seems to get progressively worse. Jumping to another point on the video doesn't help. There has to be at least a few seconds lag between the audio (which happens first) and then the video catching up.
It doesn't happen when using media player/playing games, only Chrome.
I've tried clearing the cache/cookies, reinstalling Chrome, and disabling uBlock Origin. No luck so far.
Current extensions installed: uBlock Origin, RES, Enhanced Steam.
Any suggestions of what to do? It's gotten so bad that I don't bother watching videos anymore on my PC, I use my phone instead. If it persists and I'm unable to address the issue, I may just try migrating to Firefox or something instead.
Any help is appreciated.
