EDIT* Noticed the redundancy in the title after I posted. Sorry.
Backstory, I got an Omen X Desktop around April this year. From then until November I have happily had 3 monitor plugged in and hooked up (1 HDMI and 1 DVI in 1 card and 1 HDMI in the other).
November comes around and I'm having heating issues (thermal paste dried up) and shorty after that the output ports stopped working on one of my cards. I take it to the place I purchased it from and they call HP in to fix it.
I get it back saying that the thermal module has been replaced and the GPU has been replaced (but I was told at the store when I went to pick it up and I can't use both cards for output at the same time, complete bullshit).
So I get it home and I go to plug everything in and lo and behold, the same graphics card doesn't work. I call up the company who HP got out to fix it and told them, the tech said that the card was replaced and if I wanted to have it looked at again I'd have to call HP.
So I call them, they set up another request, got a call from the same guys later that day saying that the closest place to me won't open again till the 8th of Jan. Ok, that's fine I can wait but then went on to try to reiterate that there is no way I can use both cards for monitor outputs at the same time. I tell them that I had been using both cards just fine for 8 months prior, so the person I talked to is gonna try and get the tech (who is away) to call me (haven't heard from him yet).
What I wanna know is what can I do if the tech guys comes out and tries to claim that it never worked in the first place and I might be lying.
tl;dr Had computer for 8 months using 3 monitor display with 2 GPU's. One broke, tech trying to tell me it's impossible to use both a once, need advice for when they make the house call.
