Hey Reddit,
So I had started building my PC about two weeks ago. Long story short, I thought I couldn't figure it out how to put everything together (first build) I then took it into the shop for a technician to finish the build for a modest fee. Turns out I did everything right and just had a faulty MOBO.
I get it returned to me and suddenly my mouse and keyboard stop working from the point of login. I figure it was something with the drivers but how can I update them if I can't even login, so I go through BIOS and fiddle with USB configurations. I enable USB Keyboard and Mouse Simulator and I can actually use my computer to some extent. Wrong.
I go to update my driver's and i look to see what's connected, even though they're both plugged in via USB, they're "seen" as PS/2. I go up update and it says that it's the PS/2 is the best up to date.
So my problem is, how do I update drivers to not see PS/2 as the "best available"?
