I am currently at college and I have been playing call of duty WW2 on my windows 10 PC. I am stuck with a moderate NAT type. I am not 100% on all the specifics of the situation but I think I have enough to hopefully make it understandable. Basically in my dorm I have two options for internet. The first option is plugging my PC directly into the wall to achieve a wired ethernet connection. However, for whatever reason the wired connection has a pretty poor speed. ~1.5Mbps. The other option would be the campus wide wifi network which has a speed of ~75Mbps and a ping of 11ms so its pretty good for Wi-Fi. I did not build my PC with a wireless network adapter (regrettably) so instead I use my Apple Airport Express to connect to the wifi network and connect the airport express to my PC via ethernet. This has worked flawless for me thus far. Now with call of duty I have been doing much more online gaming and I am stuck with a moderate NAT. Obviously I would like to have an open NAT, but due to the complexity of my current connection, I have just about no idea how I can accomplish that. To make matters even more complicated, my school offers IPv6 connections upon request (however that works I have no idea). What should I do? I'm currently on an ipv4 network and I have no idea where my issue is. Is it on my PC on my airport or with the actual router? Is there anyway to test this? Would it be worth the hassle to request ipv6?

TL:DR I have a moderate NAT, I want an open NAT. Is the issue with my computer, my own router, or the router my router is connecting to. Would it be worth the hassle to upgrade to get IPv6?
