E ha diffuso in diverse lingue un video dal titolo Fiamme della Guerra, lungo 58 minuti, visionato nella sua interezza dagli esperti di Globalist, nel quale vengono mostrati in maniera cruda moltissime esecuzioni di prigionieri.
Tra queste, in particolare, lo sgozzamento di militari dell'esercito siriano catturati. Immagini (contrariamente al solito) mostrate nella sua interezza e senza censure, fino al momento finale nel quale le teste mozzate vengono lanciate come sassi.
Nel video c'รจ anche un pilota siriano catturato oltre un anno fa che viene bruciato vivo. Secondo le indicazioni contenute nel filmato, si tratta del maggiore Azzam Eid. Nel video lo si vede incatenato ad un albero, con indosso una tuta rossa (non arancione). Poi gli viene dato fuoco e le immagini riprendono tutta la scena nella quale il povero prigioniero si dimena urlando di dolore prima che il suo corpo venga carbonizzato.
Non e' chiaro quando il filmato sia stato girato, e dove, poiche' l'Isis non lo precisa. Nel video sono incluse vecchie immagini di combattimenti di miliziani dell' Stato islamico in Siria e Iraq. Nell'aprile dello scorso anno l'Isis aveva diffuso un video in cui si poteva vedere il presunto abbattimento di un caccia siriano ad est di Damasco. Nel filmato si afferma che il pilota era stato catturato vivo. Da allora, del maggiore Eid non si รจ saputo piรน nulla.
