This one is a little weird.
This morning I was trying to open the Realtek control panel in order to turn on multi streaming. I have a triple ring audio jack headset and I thought it might let me use the mic and the headset out of the same jack. Don't know if it would have worked but I couldn't open the Realtek Control Panel at all. The RAVcpl64.exe file is there but nothing happens when I click it, Admin mode or just double clicking. So I uninstalled my sound drivers and re-installed the latest realtek drivers. Now my laptop will not detect new audio outputs. It only recognises the internal speaker. Plugging in head phones into the 3.5 jack makes no sound come out of either and no new item shows up in my playback devices.
I'm using a GT72S 6QE Dominator Pro G Tobii.
I've tried to install the drivers from the MSI site. Same issue.
Tried just straight windows audio drivers. Same issue.
Cannot for the life of me remember what drivers I was using before that had it working. Pretty sure it was some form of Realtek driver that had an orange and black colour scheme for the UI.
