Hi, a question:
I have a habit of turning things off when I'm not using it.
Except I also have a habit of checking the battery life of my devices, even if I don't use them, hence turning on and off at very little time intervals.
Is that bad for the device in the long run? Or does it really not matter provided it doesn't happen constantly? (ie several times a day over the course of many days).
I'm asking about about modern devices in general. Laptops. Smartphones. My Switch,WiiU Gamepad, 3DS, etc.
I looked for info and varying sources are saying this may or may not be susceptible to "thermal cycling".
