Hey everyone, I've got a problem where I'm getting intermittent freezing. About 70% or the time it is when gaming, the other 30% of the time it is when doing just about anything else like browsing online. When it freezes, audio continues to play, and I am still able to talk to and hear people on Discord. At this point, I can do nothing but restart the computer. Now sometimes, it boots up fine and I continue on. Sometimes, Windows will freeze at this screen: http://ift.tt/2iXbT9T I have to keep restarting (and dealing with Windows recovery and diagnosis) until it eventually it boots up.
This problem can happen or not happen for over 2 weeks straight.
I'm not too sure how to go about diagnosing this (if possible). I've tried a completely fresh install of Windows 10. At the advice of a friend, I tried Memtest86+ with nothing abnormal, and I've looked for malware/viruses as per the sticky with no results. I have also just tried thoroughly cleaning inside the tower.
I'd rather not buy a new computer at this point because anything I play isn't very graphics intensive (mostly LoL, and some RL and CSGO), and it does everything else great when I'm not having to constantly restarting it.
