Oriente, con Iran e Arabia Saudita continuamente sull’orlo dell’incidente diplomatico e bellico, adesso ci si mette anche
un video su Youtube a scaldare gli animi. Nell’ultima settimana, infatti, in Medio Oriente è apparso un video, ormai divenuto virale, che raffigura la simulazione di una guerra fra Arabia Saudita e Iran. Il video, che già ha avuto più di un milione di visualizzazioni, s’intitola “Forza d’assalto saudita”, ed è stato pubblicato il 14 dicembre. La simulazione si apre con una frase attribuita al principe ereditario saudita Mohammed bin Salman, il quale afferma che l’obiettivo principale dell’Iran è di raggiungere la Qibla, e cioè la “direzione” verso cui pregano i musulmani, pertanto verso la Qaaba a la Mecca. Dopo questa premessa, Salman conclude avvertendo che il suo paese “non aspetterà che la battaglia sia in Arabia Saudita” e che porterà “la battaglia in Iran”.
Il gruppo Storyful, azienda leader nel settore dell’analisi dei contenuti video e dei social media, ha rintracciato il video su un account Youtube che si chiama “Saudi Strike Force” e anche su un account Twitter con lo stesso nome.
