Is there anything I can do about the issue? I've been wanting to purchase an SSD to go into the laptop, should I move my OS and everything to the SSD once I purchase it and then order a different drive or try and go through Seagate to get a replacement? My problem is described below

Description of problem
A whirring, scraping noise in my hard drive. I did isolate it to the hard drive, as I removed the back plate and sourced it to the hard drive. I removed the drive from the case to ensure it wasn't due to mounting.
