I am extremely frustrated right now, and that's an understatement.
So a while ago, around the end of summer, I built a PC. It worked just fine for a few months, but some time in October, some really weird stuff started happening.
Occasionally, my computer would just sort of stop working but not shut down. The screen would freeze and go black and say that there was no HDMI signal from my computer. Sometimes it would just stop and reboot out of nowhere, and every once in a while it would give me an error, "Windows didn't load properly."
I looked up what this could be, and I found some different results. I found things saying it could be a virus, overheating, Storage, PSU, or RAM. So I checked all of them. I downloaded an anti-virus and there were no threats. I checked the RAM using the Windows diagnostics thing (I forgot what it's called), and there were no problems there. I checked the temperatures, everything was normal. I checked my storage, and the HDD was fine, but the "End to End Error Rate" of my SSD was failing. I didn't know what this meant, so I looked it up and found out that it was pretty serious and that I'd need to replace it. This made sense to me, if the SSD was broken, and my OS was installed on my SSD, then that would explain the problem, right?
Apparently, no, that's wrong. I replaced the SSD and...
It's still having the same problems. With and antivirus to make sure it's safe, no RAM issues, no overheating, and a brand new, shiny SSD, it was doing the same thing.
All that's left is the Motherboard, Power Supply, CPU, and Graphics Card. But I don't think it's any of those because if there was something wrong with them this would've started happening immediately, wouldn't it? If any of that shit was messed up, it wouldn't have worked perfectly for a couple months, right? And I can't believe the Graphics Card could cause problems like this.
I just want to know what's wrong and how to fix it.
