so i bought a new GTX 1070 Ti and when i installed it was running great and everything thing was fine. 3 days ago i opened overwatch (A CPU intensive game) and it was running at 10-20 i contacted blizzard and they did troubleshooting with me on the phone. we tried everything from monitoring heat to changing this in the BIOS but nothing worked. the guy told me it might be a problem with a "slow mode switch" in the motherboard i checked for that and searched in the msi website turned out i dont have that switch in my model. what the guy was saying is everything is fine the games should run with no problem but the CPU isnt doing its job its trying to go up in performance but its going back down so the performance graph for it in task manager was going up and down rapidly. i tried reinstalling the GPU but it didn't work.
i got a new electric heater in the room around the same days that i had these problems so it might have damaged something but they tech support guy said it has nothing to do with it.
