I have a Windows 7 laptop which needs to be given for servicing. The hard drive has got my financial information in the folders link Google drive and Microsoft one drive. It also has an Microsoft Outlook 2007 pst files containing all the mails
There are several folders running into almost a gigabyte containing files which may contain my identity information.
I am disabled now and could not work a lot on the computer moving files here and there. Is there an easy way for me to protect access to the my documents folder as well as the folder containing the emails. I found a solution called Veracrypt but they are required all the folders to be moved inside a new folder created by Veracrypt. The change of location of the folders will disrupt several customisations that I had made in order to work efficiently on the computer with my disability. Is there any other way to just set a password access to a particular folder without doing anything to it?
Also how do I protect Google Drive and Microsoft one drive folders. They contain several gigabytes of information. If I delete all the information then it will take a good amount of time for it to resync. Can I also set the password access to these kind of folders?
