Description of problem
Today, while checking my desktop to make sure the watercooling loop was good and didn't start randomly leaking, I noticed the uv cathode I had on my desktop was lit while the PSU was completely unplugged. I checked the plugged in cables and found out my raspberry pi had been sending power to the hdmi switch, and the switch was feeding that 5v power to my desktop via hdmi. As I am not sure whether this would cause any issues, I've simply removed the switch and pi for now. A cursory google search said nothing on whether backfeeding through an hdmi port would cause trouble or is completely safe, so I was wondering if anyone here knew if it's safe or not.

seems like a pi3 will send power on hdmi as long as it's usb port is plugged in.
switch used is a IBIS 1x2 bidirectional hdmi switch
