Description of problem
Whenever I try to install the latest nvidia game ready driver, it always fails. First I get a black screen, followed by the sound when you remove a usb device(?) a couple of times, and then I have to ctrl alt del my wy out of it. It also messes up my home screen icons. It seems like windows is preventing this installation somehow, not sure why..Don't know if it matters but my pc is connected to my tv screen by hdmi/optical.IMPORTANT: I need my pc on a daily basis so I would rather leave it like this than having no pc for days..

What I've tried so far to resolve the issue
Tried googling my way out of it, nothing so far helped. Quick install, advanced install,...turning of antivirus...updating drivers manually...Turning of the intel hd graphics...windows updates...nothing.It also seems Gefore Experience is not working anymore now..
If anyone had & knows how to fix this that would be great
