I’ve had computer issues ever since I built my pc back in 2015. Just recently I decided to rebuild most of my computer. I swapped out the motherboard, cpu, ram, gpu and even the case. The only things I didn’t touch were my ssd, hdd and power supply.
Specs: I7 7700k, 16 Gb ram, Gtx 1080, 1tb hdd, 250gb ssd, Corsair h80igt water cooler, Evga 750w nex psu
My computer seems to underperform in some games, mainly in GTA 5 but on 1080p resolution. Even with grass turned down I still drop down to 40 FPS all the time. My computer is very high end so it kind of bums me out, considering I watch people with worse builds than me run things in 1440p at 60fps easily.
I’ve fresh installed windows, re installed all my drivers, changed windows to high performance, etc. I’ve done pretty much everything countless times but still no fix. All my temps are completely normal.
Just recently I launched r6 siege and my computer shut down by itself and then restarted. No blue screen or any messages. I checked the error log and it said kernel power 41. Thus leading me to believe some kind of PSU related problem, but I have a quality PSU which is why I’m not quite sure and came for help.
