Description of problem
Essentially I just got this monitor and it wont let me switch to DisplayPort. HDMI works perfectly fine, DP says that it doesn't have a signal when it is plugged into either DP output of the 960. When the monitor is set to DP input and then is hard reset it opens the screen and it works, but no open tabs, mouse pointer, or apps, are visible on the screen.

What I've tried so far to resolve the issue
Updating graphics card drivers, updating/downloading the monitor drivers, hard restarting both the monitor and the PC, soft restarting both the monitor and the PC, adjusting power management mode to "Perfer Maximum Performance" in NVidia control panel, turning power saving mode off on the monitor, unplugging and replugging in all cords inputing into the monitor, checked pixel clock of gpu for compatibility (its compatible).
