I have an aorus gaming 7 motherboard with a h100i v2 aio. In corsair link it shows my h100i v2 with temp, fan, and pump. fan says 0 rpm but that's obviously false they are spinning, pump is fluctuating around 650-900rpm. From the h100 pump there are two connectors, one for the fans that splits into 2 4 pin connectors, another with what I think would be the pump connector, 3 pin. Originally I had the 3 pin plugged into CPU OPT and while looking through the manual corsair says to plug it into the cpu fan header. I'm seeing much cooler temps after doing so, using the cpu fan header for the pump instead of cpu opt, something to do with it getting 12v's? However I still have no control over fan speed it seems. When I click on the 0 rpm fan it says configure fan, and lets me fix what percentage to run at certain temperatures.
So just to recap
3 pin connected to CPU fan
4 pin splitter connected to both fans on the rad
micro usb plugged into pump and into usb header on mobo.
Why is the pump fluctuating between 650-900 rpm, and why can't I see my fan speed?
My guess is my bios is overriding it in some way. If that's the case, how do I fix it or what do I look for? The pump fluctuating can't be good for it's longevity so I'd like to get this fixed asap.
