Hello I have a PC AMD 8300 Eight Core processor. 16 gigs of ram. Nvidia 1050.
I am fairly certain it is somewhere hardware oriented, or alteast caused by a peice of hardware since its across software.
I ran SFC Scan. The first time it failed. Then i restarted my computer and it came back with no errors.
My dump files vary but they seem to be all driver related. I just can't decide if the issue is with my video card or ram.
There are a few that failed due to dxgmms2.sys . Some that due to ntkrnlmp.exe which can becaused by a bad driver or bad ram.
When I try to download the driver from the nvidia site I get a 'win7:corrupted data error'
So when i get home I'm going to look to see who the manufacturer of the driver is and try and download the driver from there. Any other suggestions would be helpful
Edit: I should also preface that I've done the windows memory check which comes back with no errors
edit2: I ran the chkdsk function that is available without restarting. It said i didn't need to "cause no errors found" but when I ran it it found an error.
Then I ran the chk dsk from the command prompt that you need to restart for. It too found an error and said it fixed it. I ran chk dsk again and it hasn't found anything the 2nd time.
Starting to think more and more this is ram related causing the weird harddrive errors. But its hard to check, i can remove one to test, but nothing that it's usually crashing on would be expected to run on just 8 gigs of ram (I have two 8 gig sticks)
