When the problem began?
I was playing Borderlands 2. I use my Android phone to tether and use internet. Been using this for many years. Since Borderlands 2 lags on Unbridged connection, I minimised Borderlands 2, went to network setts, and bridged connection. As soon as I clicked 'bridge connection', the PC froze for a while. Then it went to BSOD with DPC_WATCHDOG_VIOLATION, restarted. I disconnected my phone. PC is working. I connected my phone (didn't tether yet), it's working, as soon as I tether it again, the PC froze and BSOD with DPS_WATCHDOG_VIOLATION'.
What I found out so far? Via memory dump and Blue screen View, I found out that hal.dll and ntoskrnl.exe are the culprit.
What I tried so far ✓Uninstalled/reinstalled Network adapters and IDE ATA/ATAPI controllers in device manager ✓Uninstalled Avast AV ✓Went to Safe with Network. What's awkward is, there was no network, i.e. I was not connected to internet.
So what can I do? Is it hardware? Software? Simply, hall.dll and ntoskrnl.exe are Culprit for bsod_watchdog_violation that causes whenever I connect to internet.
