I bought this laptop from best buy during Thanksgiving Break. It was an open-box edition and the guy was willing to give me an additional 20% off the open-box price, so I ended up saving almost $600 on the laptop, which I thought was amazing since I'm pretty poor and I was in need of a new laptop.
I came back to school after Thanksgiving Break and I noticed one of the hinges was crooked.

You can clearly see the difference between the hinges. The crookedness isn't noticable when the laptop is closed. I couldn't do anything about it since I was ~140 miles away at school.
Now that I'm back home, I can do something about this. Should I take it back to best buy? It's covered by the best buy extended holiday return policy. The only problem is that if I return it and want the same edition of the laptop, I have to buy it at full price ~$1200.
I did not buy a warranty for this. I don't know if it automatically comes with a 30 day or 60 day warranty? That was something I really should've kept in mind when buying this. Should I try getting it fixed instead of returning it? I'm afraid that the hinge is going to break when I go back to school for the spring semester and then I won't be able to get it fixed until spring break. I wouldn't mind paying a few hundred to get the hinge fixed since I saved so much money on this laptop in the first place. Is it something I can easily fix myself? I'm a 20 year old woman with no knowledge in this kind of stuff lol
