This is a weird bug, but really infuriating - I'd really appreciate any help!
I'm running Windows 10 with the latest updates. After I launch any application that uses exclusive full-screen mode (i.e. a game), other windows like my web browser will become unclickable - or rather, click-through-able. I can't use that window until I've "refreshed" the window by minimising then maximising it, using the taskbar. This problem occurs if I simply alt-tab from the fullscreen application, but it also shows up AFTER I close the fullscreen application even if I never alt-tabbed from it before closing.
Here's an example: I have my web browser open right now, and nothing else. If I click my Start button, then launch a fullscreen game from it, then quit the game immediately - my browser window will become bugged out. Left-clicking does nothing. Right-clicking brings up my Desktop's context menu (hence the "click-through"). By using Alt-Tab, I can get focus of the browser window, and control it via keyboard, but trying to click anywhere results in a loss of focus since I've basically clicked on my desktop.
But this doesn't just happen to my browser - it happens to every window that's open when the fullscreen application is launched, except those that are minimised. It also happens across multiple different fullscreen applications.
I've tried using a focus tracker to see if anything's stealing focus... nothing is. The windows just aren't clickable until I've "refreshed" them. I've never had this problem in Windows 7, which I used to use a lot.
