TLDR:Attempted Windows 10 update, got Black Screen of Death, tried various ways to fix it. Ended up messing up the Boot and now have a BootMGR missing, Press Cntrl, alt , delete to restart cpu

Recently I upgraded my cpu from windows 8 to windows 10 by downloading the ISO from Microsoft and running it. After about an hour, it seemed to be running fine. The login screen opened and it finished some updates. After about 20 minutes the screen was black and I could see my mouse. I restarted my computer several times and it never makes it to the login screen. Only black screen with the mouse visible. CNTRL- ALT-DELETE and CNTRL-SHIFT-ESC wouldn't bring up the task manager. Only sticky key screen pops up.

I looked up several ways to fix it but nothing worked. I tried, USB with the windows ISO and repair, I attempted to bring up safe mode, and more. Eventually I pulled up the CMD prompt and tried running bootrec commands. All worked except bootrec/rebuildbcd which resulted in Access denied.

After messing with the bootrec, I loaded the CPU and it says BOOT MGR missing. When I insert my USB with Windows on it, it says some error and to restart the cpu.

Looking for how I can fix it while keeping my data OR Ways to fix it regardless of consequence.
