hello there, not long ago my OS was upgraded to fall creator (1709). it was fine for a while. but today, connection problems seems to persist and escalating. here's what happened:
- morning, can't use certain application (steam, skype, slack). at this time, browser working just fine (connection status/icon is fine)
- noon, one of my profile on chrome seems unable to browse at all (connection status/icon is fine)
- afternoon, all of my profile on chrome can't browse at all, even EDGE (connection status/icon is fine)
workaround so far:
- reset network
- rolling back to 1703
- renew ip with cmd
- turn off firewall
- turn off windows defender with regedit
- turn off all startup services application except microsoft's
- reinstalling network adapter
- playing around with power settings
- restart router, switch channel
- restart modem
- plug off/in cable to my dekstop
- fresh install the windows
and none of the above seems to be working
things that i note:
- everytime i restart the pc, it works just fine. browsing, streaming
- no. 1, until i open one of application i mentioned earlier/above
- no. 1, after 40-60s pass, it doesn't work again
so yeah...i'm pretty much out of options right now. does anybody has the same problem as me and manage to solved the problem?
btw, i'm not using any 3rd party protections
