Hi guys.

On Monday I was browsing the web when I got hit with the above mentioned BSOD. My laptop then did its thing and rebooted, but went straight to the BIOS instead and I couldn't get it to do anything else.

My laptop is an Asus N550JX running Windows 10, and as such has both an SSD and HDD, operating system on the SSD and HDD for storage as per. My initial thought was my SSD had died because I couldn't see it in the BIOS, but I've had a local PC guy take a look and he has said its actually a motherboard issue. I am inclined to believe him because he knows far more than I do and has a good reputation but does this sound fairly reasonable to anyone else? And has anyone experienced this issue before?

TIA.
