I am attempting to perform a basic static IP and port forward procedure just to see if it'll help with game connectivity. I read my router's guide along with the sidebar guide and I did everything EXACTLY as stated. I also doublechecked all my address and numbers and didn't get any errors with validating my static IP address.
But after I enter my ports that I wanted forwarded in my router's settings, I use an online tool to check them and get an error.
I don't know if this is relevant, but the static IP I chose is 192.168.0.xx, but when I use online tools to see my IP address or check the port, it lists my IP as 68.111.76.xx. Why am I seeing two different IP addresses?
