Recently my secondary drive has been sustaining a 100% Disk usage rate in the Task Manager / Performance tab.
The only thing I've been able to observe outside of this is the following:
• Trying to open anything or any folders in this drive, takes an extremely long time to open (in most cases it doesn't).
• My Steam library cannot update one of the games that are installed in this drive giving the result: CORRUPT DISK (verifying disk integrity does not resolve the update issue).
• This is not a system drive, but my Windows 10, version 1709 update has stopped at 79% for the past 9 hours.
• I cannot defragment it, as it isn't showing up properly.
Is this saying my HDD is dead? Is there any information I can provide for you for troubleshooting? Should I start looking for a new drive?
