Hello, all.
I recently bought a TP-WR940N v6 router cuz I needed better antenna coverage for my house. I was able to set it up like any other router.
The problem is that sometimes, the wifi just stops working. The devices remain connected to the router, but the router basically stops sending packages. I tried a simple ping from the router's admin console to google.com and it lost 75% of the packages. Also, looking at my Steam downloads, it occasionally comes back, then goes back to 0-25 Kbps. After I reset it, it works normally for a few minutes, then goes back to the same issue.
Also, this problem is not constant. Sometimes it works normally for several hours before it goes dead again.
The firmware is up to date (tp-link have only released one firmware version so far), and I tried ddwrt but there isn't one available for this router yet.
Also, I connected my old router, and it works normally, so it is DEFINITELY the router, but I'm not sure if it's the configuration or an actual factory issue.
Any help would be appreciated.
