Some backstory:
Basically I purchased an Intel I7-6700K from Newegg close to a year ago. This week I turn on my PC to play games and found my FPS to be terrible across the board. I ran every test, benchmark, physical inspection, and troubleshooting method I could think of and came to the conclusion my CPU is damaged (not physically). I think a power outage while I was at work may be the suspect here, but I cannot confirm that.
I’ve read through Newegg’s RMA policy and that’s not happening. Would Intel accept an RMA request for this? I’m not even sure if I have the box anymore (dumb mistake). Problem is the CPU still functions and I need one at all times for my PC obviously.
