Description of problem
So, I bought myself a new monitor because I really wanted to get into 144hz gaming.Problem is, out of the box, the 3 cables, DVI, VGA, HDMI cables, provided weren't able to plug into my computer (At least one of them, and that's the HDMI to HDMI cable.) See, now the problem here is my GPU only has 1 HDMI port and 3 Displayports. I've heard HDMI 1.3 is able to allow 144hz but it doesn't look like it, I'm still stuck with 60hz.

What I've tried so far to resolve the issue
Luckily, I have an extra DVI cable, but it's a DVI to HDMITried customizing the resolution, left with a black screen.Tried purchasing an adapter for the HDMI port, still doesn't work. Literally scurried malls just to find an adapter, I doubt there would be a proper DVI to Displayport.
