After installing the Windows 10 Fall Creators Update, most of my apps are missing from the Start Menu. The missing apps are no longer pinned in the Start Menu, nor are they in the list of apps. If I search for the app, Cortana is not able to find it and instead points me to the Store to install it. Which is another clusterfuck, because the Store app is missing as well. I eventually found it, but it doesn't show up on the Start Menu and once I open it, it doesn't show an icon in the taskbar, so I can't pin it anywhere. The Store does say that my apps are still installed.
I did find this on the Microsoft forums and I tried all the steps that the Microsoft employee suggested but none of them have worked for me and the problem still persists. Microsoft still hasn't released an official fix for the problem but the good news is that they're working on it since so many people are facing this problem.
Is there any way to fix this? Am I going to have to install all my apps all over again? Because that's just not possible right now as I'm on limited bandwidth. Should I just go back to the previous version of Windows?
