My laptop currently has both Win10pro and Ubuntu15.10 as dualboot options. I never use the linux part anymore and last time I loaded it, it refused an update to newer release iirc.

Anyhow; I now have 2 physical drives, divided into 5 partitions. One partition for the LinuxOS and the rest is used under W10 but the C:/ drive gives headaches as certain W10 folders are getting so huge I run into warnings. (.../Installer and .../Assembly alone are 55GB!). Rather than figuring out certain files/docs to be safely removed or not I want to do a few things. 1) Get rid of my partitions. Not sure why I'd need them any more and I'll just stick with one giant C:/ drive and one D:/ and then work with folders instead of dividing certain files among different partitions.

Given the fact Linux is never used any more I want to remove that entirely and add that space back to C: or D:

I found a "RefreshWindowsTool.exe" on the MS site and hope to use this to make things easy. I have successfully done OS installations but I wonder if I now need to take any precautions because of the current dual boot setup.

PS. I enabled entire disk encryption in the BIOS, does this change anything to the process?
