Difficile star dietro alla cronaca che arriva dall’Arabia Saudita in questi giorni. Tra spinte in avanti (almeno sulla carta) e principi arrestati (e uccisi), sembra che a governare il Paese non sia casa Saud, ma il caos. Ricapitoliamo alcuni fatti recenti.
Il 4 novembre, mentre si trovava a Riad, il primo ministro libanese
Saad Hariri annuncia le dimissioni alla tv
al Jadeed e il Libano rimane profondamente scioccato da questa decisione. Hariri punta il dito contro l’Iran, accusando il regime degli ayatollah di avere “un forte desiderio di distruggere il mondo arabo. L’Iran controlla la regione e le decisioni prese sia in Siria che in Iraq. Semina discordia tra i figli di una stessa nazione e crea uno Stato nello Stato, al punto da avere l’ultima parola su come vengono gestiti gli affari libanesi”. “Dovunque sia coinvolto – ha proseguito Hariri – non c’è altro che devastazione e caos. Il controllo (dell’Iran
ndr) sulla regione sarà tagliato e il Libano risorgerà come ha fatto in passato”. Ed è ovvio che Hariri accusasse anche il Partito di Dio di dividere il Paese: “Nei decenni scorsi, Hezbollah è stato capace di creare una situazione de facto grazie al potere del suo arsenale che loro sostengono sia per la resistenza ma che è stato usato contro i nostri fratelli siriani e yemeniti e anche contro il popolo libanese”.
Dura la replica di Hassan Nasrallah: “Le sue (di Hariri, ndr) dimissioni sono state decise e dettate dai Sauditi che hanno forzato la volontà del primo ministro”. Ma è a questo punto che Nasrallah non cade nel possibile trappolone di Riad. Non alza i toni e, anzi, chiede ai libanesi calma e pazienza.
