Description of problem
Without a discernible catalyst, my laptop started running at 100% disk use randomly last week. I've tried the following:Disabling Windows Search / SuperFetch servicePerformed a disk check and fixReset my virtual memoryDisabled my antivirusChanged google chrome and skype settingsUpdating driversSo now I'm stuck. I got to a breaking point with it and tried to factory reset, but that is the second fold of this problem.When I hit F9 at the Asus logo on boot up, it's unresponsive. Doesn't matter how fast or long I hit it. So then I tried to recover to my factory reset point, but not only does none exist, the software provided by asus to re-establish a factory reset option does not apply to my laptop. What are my options here?
