Description of problem
When we try to open a doc or excel file, we can no longer simply click on the file in File Explorer to get it to open. Instead, we have to search for it through a doc directory, find it and then click on it. Even then, it will sometimes simply just open Word or Excel without opening the actual file and we have to go to the directory and click it again to get it to open.

Nothing yet. It is a computer in a school office. They do not have a current backup routine in place so I have been wary of making any serious changes.
