Description of problem
No keyboard keys work including function keys. Power switch, ports, and trackpad are all operable. I'm currently using a USB keyboard.

Cause/Steps to recreate the issue
I'm not entirely sure I understand why I would want to recreate this issue. At the risk of sounding passive aggressive and blowing past an opportunity to give you genuinly valuable information that would be helpful, I'm going to say that I might just recreate this issue for shits and giggles, but I am a student and finals week is upon us so shits and giggle can wait until Christmas break.
What I've tried so far to resolve the issue
Restarting, and hitting CTRL Shift Enter (on the USB keyboard) as was recommended on a blog. I also ran into the recomendation to hit F2 upon rebooting to find myself in the BIOS but havent tried that yet because it doesn't explain the next step and I don't know what to do once inside.
