Hello all,
Recently my computer has been having an issue where it stops outputting any video. This can happen anytime from a few hours to a few minutes after startup. The computer is definitely still running and any audio that was playing can still be heard, so it seems that the PC is still working to a certain degree while this is happening, however the audio is very glitchy and inconsistent afterwords and audio from any games i was playing stops. After turning it back on, I usually have "Please power down and connect the PCIe power cable(s) for this graphics card" appear on screen with no other information. I have tried to find online how to solve this, but all i could find refers to incorrectly building your pc, when this is a prebuilt pc. I've been told that it could be a connector coming loose inside the pc but I looked and could not see any that looked loose. Any help would be highly appreciated

i5-6400 CPU @ 2.70GHz
Nvidia GTX 970
8gb of ram (ddr3 sdram i think)
Running Windows 10 home 64 bit
Again, any and all help would be very appreciated. I apologise if I am not providing enough info, I am not particularly good with computers (hence why I bought a prebuilt PC as opposed to building one myself).
