A couple months ago I tried updating my laptop and after that it gave me the BSOD every time I played a YouTube video. It can play games however like steam, etc. I uninstalled the updates after some googling that that might be an issue and I at least got my laptop to turn back on, but then my dad said I should try to force update it. Long story short, it never finished the updates even after sitting all night and we tried to stop it but it got stuck in an endless loop so we had to reset it, luckily keeping my files. I haven’t tried a YouTube video again after this, but when I tried to just restart my computer yesterday it got stuck there too and I had to force shut it down and power on manually. I’m worried to update to windows 10 like it wants me to in case it breaks again. Does anyone know how to fix this? Is it safe to update? I’m not sure if I should take it in somewhere to see if they can fix it. Thanks in advance for any help!
I have an ASUS notebook pc according to the bottom of it.
