Description of problem
This problem has been happening all yesterday continuing to today. We installed all the parts in the case and loaded up the OS to the SSD. When we were downloading programs it would freeze. I mean freeze by lock up the display, mouse and keyboard and need to be hard reset to regain functionality. It froze downloading a game from steam, Windows update and once browsing Chrome to troubleshoot (might have been downloading windows updates in the background). We have confirmed the BIOS settings are stock, The CPU wasn't overheating. Sometimes it would freeze and give the blue screen of death with Clock_Watchdog_Timeout. We tried troubleshooting with that error with no success. Late last night we did a fresh install of windows (formatted both drives with windows disk, reinstalled windows on SSD) and it seemed to be fine so we left it to update windows overnight. It seemed to be working well with the updates so I went to bed. Wake up this morning still freezes.
