I'm very confused about my CPU speed. I've got a 7700k, just got it for a good price and for the high clock speed, I know very little about overclocking. But, even though my BIOS is telling me it is set to run at 4.2ghz max, I'm getting conflicting info from my system.
CPU-Z is telling me it is running at 4.5ghz (45x multiplier of a 100mhz bus).
Same deal with the RAM, only it's reading lower. BIOS is telling me it's set to 2400mhz, CPU-Z says 1500mhz.
Wasup with that?
