Tried to tell my ISP and they fed me some story about how the change in temperature affects the internet because of copper lines or some shit. I'm not tech savvy at all so don't make fun of me but, i'm just assuming that's not true. I am only really having issues with my network when gaming.
My speed tests all come back normal, netflix is fine, twitch is fine, youtube fine, everything except my games. Even the green bars in discord will spike from red to orange to green constantly, same as in fighting games I play.
I went into live chat and asked for some advice and the farthest we got was plugging my computer directly into the modem. This solved basically all the lag issues I was having. So, I was instructed to try a factory reset on my router, which I did (almost shit a brick thinking I broke the internet at one point but, I got it.) After the factory reset I am still getting lag on the router. If anyone has any ideas feel free to submit. Would really like to figure this out.
