Hey guys,
Long story short - Video Wall project for work involving 8 LED TVs. Decided to go the custom PC route.
i5-6500 650 PSU 2 x Gigabyte GeForce GTX 1050 Ti Windforce OC 4G (GV-N105TWF2OC-4GD) ASUS Prime Z270-A LGA 1151 ATX Motherboard Windows 7 pro 64bit 8 GB RAM
I purchased the above 1050ti because it had 3 x HDMI, 1 x DP and 1 x DVI outputs. I figured (maybe ignorantly) that I could use the 3 x HDMI and a HDMI-to-DP adapter for 4 of the TVs on one card and the same for the other card totaling 8 screens.
In terms of span vs individual, I believe I can force span via software that I am using (still havent found a good non-hosted software solution for digital signage aside from Frontface and Repeat Signage so far, suggestions welcome!)
I hooked up all 8 screens but only 6 show across the 2 cards, the 7th screen would flicker and the 8th screen just shows no signal. Nvidia control panel shows 8 screens connected.
I switched around the hdmi wires and it will always end up either 6 screens working and 2 others will not (random and not indicative of a specific HDMI cable not working).
I need to get this project done with. I am HEAVILY leaning toward returning the 2 graphics cards and getting a NVS810 with adapters but if I can make the current setup working today maybe I wont have to do that...I just fear that even if I do get the outputs working...syncing the monitors would be my next hurdle...
Would appreciate advisement on this guys!
