I have two video game consoles that were left outdoors, underneath a deck but exposed to the air/condensation in New England. One was a Sega Genesis console left outside for about six days. The other was a Sega Dreamcast console left outside for one night, then in a box with a crack in it in the same spot for two weeks. My question is if these consoles will be unsafe to use, even after letting them adjust to room temperature. Could something short circuit and cause a fire?
