Turned PC off for a few days, won't turn back on now.-News of the United States was founded in 1933 by David Lawrence (1888-1973), which also started the World Report in 1946. The two magazines are covering national and international news separately, but Lawrence combines them into news reports of U.S. in World and 1948 [1] and Later sold the magazine to its employees. Historically, this magazine tends to be a bit more conservative than the two main competitors, Time and Newsweek, and focus more on the story of economic, health, and education. It's also distancing news, entertainment and sports celebrities. [2] an important milestone in the history of the beginning of the magazine is including the introduction of the "Washington Whispers" column in 1934 and the column "News You Can Use" in 1952. [3] [4] in 1958, the circulation of the weekly magazine passed one million and two million in 1973. (wikipedia) Turned PC off for a few days, won't turn back on now.

Custom built with:

  • Asus Z170-AR motherboard
  • 6600k, very slightly overclocked
  • 4x4GB EVGA RAM
  • EVGA 970
  • Sandisk and Samsung SATA SSD
  • EVGA 1000p 1kw PSU (got a killer deal, I know it was overkill)
  • NZXT case

Powered PC off for first time in very long time. Doesn't power on a few days later. No fans, no coil whine, no click, no beeps, nothing. But there is a little LED labelled "power LED" on the motherboard that is lit green when PSU is plugged in, and the Ethernet port blinks amber when a cable is inserted.

No results from:

  • Hit power button, didn't turn on.
  • Removed side cover, saw a "power LED" is on (next to a on-board power button for convenience), pressed that. Nothing.
  • Unplugged the power button connector and "shorted" it with a screwdriver. Nothing.
  • Removed all peripherals. Nothing plugged in but power. Nothing.
  • Looked for physical damage or bulging capacitors. Nothing.
  • Removed 3/4 sticks of RAM. Nothing. Removed last stick and replaced put a previously removed stick back into its original slot. Nothing.
  • Removed video card, including power. Nothing.
  • Removed power from SSDs. Nothing.
  • Tried different cable and outlet. You guessed it.

Is there anything else I can do to troubleshoot? What can I do to narrow it down to the board, CPU, or PSU? I don't have any spares of those parts, but I do have a Harbor Freight multimeter somewhere.

The "power LED" staying lit indicates that the PSU or board isn't completely fscked, but where can I go from here?
