I have tried to install Windows Precision drivers from an article I found on windowscentral.com (see link below) because Razer doesn't support them on some of their laptop models for some reason. Following these instructions and installing the Synaptics driver from the link on the website will work after a restart and updating the driver before prompting to restart. The trackpad works PERFECTLY in these void before the restart - gestures work and it is detected as a precision touchpad by windows.
However, as soon as I restart the trackpad will no longer work at all. It is still detected in Windows Device Manager and appears functional to the OS but does not accept any input. I can't get it to work at all without removing all drivers to revert back to factory settings.
I believe this may be able to be fixed by stopping whatever setup task runs after restarting, but I have no idea how to do this. Any other suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
